We had an issue with another guest in our room, he was opening our curtains early in the morning, which made us very uncomfortable, trying to speak to us after we made it clear we didn’t want to. This was resolved well by the front of desk staff, and they were very helpful and hospitable after we complained, moving us to another room away from the problemed man.

We thought the additional charge for bedding was unusual for a hostel. The toilets smelt awful and there was human excrement in one of the showers.
