Danhostel Copenhagen City Bewertungen
Location is very well located. The guestkitchen is a bit too small for the size of the hostel. I would have loved some fresh dishcloths in the kitchen.
The view and the room was great!!!
All in all a very nice hostel.
Most of the staff were friendly, some not so much, but we had limited interaction anyway.
I really appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of the hostel manager.
Breakfast choice was limited, and always crowded, but that comes with a youth hostel.
Overall, it met the expectations.
I would have scored it higher but we had one night in the dorm when a guest arrived at 12:30AM and had to make her bed.
We had mixed experience with your staff. The day of our arrival, the employee who did the check-in was not friendly and helpfull at all. As I asked for parking, he only proposed me the paying alternative; I had to insist on the possibility of free parking (which I had read about on the internet) to be offered that option. In the middle of the check-in procedure, he startet to answer a phone call and to talk with a colleque without any "sorrry" or "just a moment". Though, I was left alone to fill in the form for the parking. After he had finished the call, he didn't ask me if I got along well with the form or if i need help. When I tried to say to him that I am not quite sure if I managed to fill in the form the right way, he interrupted me unpolitely and asked just if I got an sms. I checked my phone and confirmed that I got one and he ended the conversation and went on with other business. An other employee on the same day, whom we asked about the possibilities for doing our laundry was, on the contrary, very helpful and friendly. The same is true about all the other staff we met during our stay.
