    Private room booked to get a good night's sleep, but surrounding rooms on the same floor occupied by a large group of teenagers, very noisy at night, slamming doors, worse than in a dorm. Poor sleep.

    Only thing I would change would be that you would ask the arrival time in advance. I am used to not announcing that, even if arriving late.

    I heard from a fellow traveler that you would mark bookings as no-shows.

When booking a bed in one of our shared dormitories, we inform guests that check-in should take place before 11 PM to ensure that the other guests in the room are not disturbed.
