Fairy Tale Sculptures

Hans Christian Andersen, the Danish world-renowned literary and fairy tale writer, lived in the town of Odense. Many of his stories which have been translated into more than 150 languages, were written at his home in Hans Jensensstræde. Many Disney movies, including the Little Mermaid and Frozen, have been adapted from the works of Denmark’s most famous writer.

The people of Odense make sure that the City pays its respects to their hometown hero.  His presence is felt throughout the city. The house that he lived in has been converted to a museum where you can learn about his life – the good and the bad.
