This trip takes you to Vendsyssel's hilltop and other parts of North Jutland, and offers amazing views of the sea and land which have attracted artists over the centuries. Be prepared to get some oxygen in your lungs as you jump on your bike and pedal towards the town of Hirtshals via idyllic towns, medieval sights and interesting museums.
Come through Bjergby, a hilly location - as the Danish word Bjerg indicates. It has bicycle paths which will test the muscles in your legs. Hellehøj, one of Denmark’s highest points, towers 89 m above sea level and offers stunning views of the countryside and sea when you reach the top. This view has inspired many artists, and for good reason.
Go past Kjul Strand, a lovely beach, and cool down before continuing towards Hirtshals and the North Sea Oceanarium. Here you can experience Northern Europe's largest aquarium. End the day at one of Hirtshals’ many eateries.
