Meetings and Courses at Danhostel Kalundborg

Do you need a location where you can enjoy meetings or courses in a relaxed, bright setting? If yes, then Danhostel Kalundborg is the place to be.

When you reserve a room for meetings and courses at Danhostel Kalundborg, you choose a place that was built as a conference facility. We have 3 rooms, each equipped with blackboard, overhead, canvas, flip-over and Wi-Fi.  Any additional equipment, including TV, VHS video, DVD, LCD projector, CD player, piano and songbooks can be accessed by appointment. The copy machine is at the reception desk.  For each class, we provide notepads, pens, a 'sweet temptation' and water.

Our Danhostel is well-furnished and is open all year.  Our 28 rooms with 118 beds have private bathrooms, so if you would like to add accommodation to your conference reservation, you are welcome to do so.  Rent single or double rooms or sleep up to 4 guests in a room. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the house, free parking, a TV lounge and laundry facilities. Our kitchen is green and prepares excellent organic meals and homemade products. We have the Danish Organic Label and Green Key.

After your meeting, you might want to explore the city of Kalundborg. There are many attractions available.  The Church of Our Lady, Lerchenborg Castle, Nature Park Åmosen on Tissø and Kalundborg Museum are just a few of the sights you can visit. There are trails in our backyard and bicycle routes at our front door and the fjord is just 300 m from our Danhostel.  A Nordic trail goes through the city of Kalundborg and has several good walking routes, so venture out and enjoy the view.
