Popular Attractions in Copenhagen
Why not take a trip to some of the most popular spots in Copenhagen? There are so many of them. If you are into museums, there are quite a few. For example, Hirschsprung Collection and the National Gallery are close to Nørreport Station. The National Museum, Thorvaldsen's Museum and Glyptoteket are within walking distance of the Main Station.
How about castles? Amalienborg, Christianborg Castle and Rosenborg Castle are a must see.
Around the city, you will find many parks and gardens. The Botanical Gardens near Nørreport is worth a trip. Then there are Kongens Have, known as the King's Garden, Ørstedsparken and other spots. On the island of Amager, areas such as Amagerfælled are great oases where you can jog, cycle, sunbathe, have a picnic or just relax. When you visit Amagerfælled, you can pick fruits and berries to eat with your lunch. Now that's a great dessert free of charge!
Enjoy the water at Amager Beach or one of the harbour baths. On a warm day in Copenhagen, get there early or you might not be able to find a spot on the sand!
The Blue Planet, Experimentarium, The Round Tower, Tivoli Amusement Park and Bakken are a few others.
