Danhostel Gjerrild groups

At Danhostel Gjerrild, we provide the perfect setting for your group accommodation, whether you come with family, colleagues, sports club or friends!

We can organise your stay as you desire.  With 24 rooms and a total of 106 beds, we have enough room for all.  We offer accommodation in single rooms or in dorms for up to 4 people. You will experience cosy, down-to-earth surroundings with room for activities and hygge. The hostel's main building once served as a depot for the old Gjerrild train route, which brought people to the area of North Djursland.  As a result, we provide you with a unique experience when you sleep in an old DSB train car designed for a maximum of 16 people.

Our kitchen can customise our menu according to your wishes or you can prepare your own meals in our guest kitchen. We serve meals in our cosy dining room. 

Our surroundings allow for long walks by the beach and forest and excursions to some attractions in Djursland, so there are loads of exciting activities right outside the door!
