Amager Fælled – Copenhagen’s Green Escape

If you want to slow down and enjoy nature without leaving the city, visit Amager Fælled. This large green area is a peaceful mix of meadows, lakes and wetlands — a natural oasis just a short Metro ride from central Copenhagen.

Once an industrial zone, Amager Fælled has been transformed into one of the city’s favourite spots for outdoor life. Locals come here to walk, jog, cycle or simply relax in the grass with friends. You might spot deer, rare birds or wildflowers while exploring the trails.
