Danhostel Fjaltring school camps

Fjaltring is in Lemvig municipality, an area with many educational opportunities. In addition, there are moorlands, meadows, lakes, marshland, dunes and pastures where students can go on biking or hiking trips. 

The nearby Nissum Fjord has a large bird sanctuary. Here you can observe rich birdlife which includes geese, swans, ducks and many others. Plantlife in the various biotopes is also an experience. The profusion of flowers growing along the road is a special sight when you head towards the fishing village of Torsminde.

The local rescue service located above the rescue station on this part of the coast is a small museum. At nearby Bovbjerg Lighthouse, you can study the history of the coast. Other attractions include:
