Danhostel Haderslev, situated at Haderslev Lake in the middle of unspoilt nature, is just 5 minutes from Haderslev Town Centre.

At Danhostel Haderslev, there are 30 rooms of varying sizes (most with private bathrooms), free Wi-Fi, free parking, TV lounge, bicycle rental, and laundry facilities. Camping facilities and 10 self-contained cabins are also available. We have meeting rooms and event facilities for up to 80 guests.

The town of Haderslev dates back 800 years. It is a charming town surrounded by water, which makes it ideal for canoeing or sailing. There is a large local archaeological museum, but the most prominent feature is Haderslev Cathedra,l proudly situated on a hill in the centre of town.

For excursions near Haderslev, sail to the island of Årø on the fjord boat, Helene, or go for a canoe ride on tranquil Haderslev Dam, a lake right by the hostel. Enjoy nature walks and tours on marked hiking trails and cycle routes.  Visit the bird sanctuary, Hindemaderne, Gram Castle, Haderslev Deer Park, or venture further out to the Danish/German border and purchase various items at the border shops.
