Danhostel Kjellerup school camps

When you book your next school camp at Danhostel Kjellrup, you will experience beautiful nature and have ample opportunities for socialising and development.

Our 6 cabins sit in an incredibly beautiful area by Krabbes Grønne Ring, a 14-km path system which encircles Kjellerup. The path is perfect for walking, running and cycling.

We offer free parking for cars and buses.

More than 100 years ago, Kjellerup's citizens took the initiative to beautify the town by planting trees. Krabbes Grønne Ring has expanded and almost encircles the town creating a practical path system in beautiful, natural surroundings.

Kjellerup is in The Lake District - just 16 km from Silkeborg and 10 km from the Herning motorway.

Activities for Everyone

Just outside the doors of our cabins in Arena Park, there are plenty of opportunities for free activities, games, play and relaxation.  Participate in street basketball, play on the multi-lanes, use the sand for games such as beach volleyball, petanque, training track with TRX, biking and running with obstacles, etc. There is also the possibility to book an appointment at the nearby shooting range.

Order firewood the day before you need it to make a bonfire.  Roast marshmallows and anything else you desire. If you would like the ultimate outdoor experience, set up tents or use our two shelters if they are available.

Danhostel Kjellerup's Cabins

Our six self-contained nature cabins are identical with up to six beds in each cabin. All have underfloor heating. There is a sofa bed and four bunk beds. All six cabins are adjacent to Arena Midt, so use the facilities for free during your stay for sports and fitness.
