Certified Danhostels
Many have inquired about our wheelchair-friendly Danhostels, so we have prepared a guide indicating what we offer. There are Danhostels which are certified by God Adgang (Good Access). View all Danhostels at their individual website at godadgang.dk, then search for "Danhostel."
Several of our Danhostels, although not certified, are wheelchair friendly, so we encouraged these Danhostels to tell guests about the additional amenities they offer for wheelchair users.

Please contact the specific Danhostel when you book if you have any questions. Always state if there are one or more wheelchair users in your group or family. Several hostels have rooms which can be accessed by wheelchair users.

There are special rooms for wheelchair users. The bath and toilet are larger than in other rooms. - Danhostel Ishøj Strand
Two rooms are handicap-friendly with ramps leading directly to the rooms. The other 10 rooms can be reached using a mobile ramp. Everything is on one plan and thus easily accessible. - Danhostel Kolding
Four rooms and the guest kitchen are handicap-friendly. The dining room is not, so if you require breakfast, please request that your meal be delivered to your room or to the guest kitchen. - Danhostel Nykøbing Falster

Two rooms are specially designed for wheelchair users. There are 2 elevators which wheelchair users can access on all levels. - Danhostel Silkeborg
Six rooms are wheelchair accessible. The entrance to reception, living room and restaurant have double doors which can be opened. These areas, however, are not suitable for electric wheelchairs, but for wheelchair users who are mobile without a chair. - Danhostel Stevns

There are 2 handicap-friendly bathrooms in the hallway. The entrance to the rooms is not suitable for electric wheelchairs (max 77 cm wide). The main building is wheelchair friendly and has a handicap toilet.
